This historic 1941 basketball ticket that celebrates FDR’s birthday and raises funds to prevent Infantile Paralysis represents a major milestone in the sport.
A while ago we wrote a letter to President Barack Obama inviting him for a personal tour of the Black Fives exhibit at the New-York Historical Society.
Just behold these vintage African American women’s basketball photographs, and the stories they tell.
Mr. Obama stopped at Ben’s Chili Bowl in D.C. this weekend, across the street from a historic black basketball site once known as True Reformer’s Hall.
