The premium sports lifestyle brand known as ’47 teams up with the Black Fives Foundation for a new genre of apparel combining fashion with history.
Please meet the Younger Set Girls, an African American women’s basketball team that was formed in New York City in 1912.
On December 12, 1917, the famous 369th Colored Infantry Regiment of Harlem — known as the Harlem Hellfighters — set sail for Europe from Hoboken, New Jersey.
There’s only one professional basketball team in the New York area that was always great, every year.
How “logo forensics” helped me re-create the identity of the Independent Pleasure Club of New Jersey so that the story of this wonderful all-black basketball team could be brought back to life.
